“Oooh, what is it?” “Does anyone know what this is?” “… but I couldn’t tell you what color it’s going to be.” And so, we urge people to label their donations — stop them at the drop-off table and have then fill out the blank forms if they haven’t done it ahead of time, while their eyes flash to the tables of goodies that someone else might get to first!! We’ve had blank forms available on this site for ages. This time around, we are experimenting with something new. Thanks to the efforts of a generous and enthusiastic volunteer (thank you, Andrew!) we have generic forms for some of our most commonly donated kinds of plants. One size does not fit all. There are still some multiple choice options. But we’re interested in making it as easy as possible for people to do the labeling thing. We have put them up as a Word and Adobe PDF documents and encourage, nay, urge you to tailor them to suit your needs. Look under the “Forms” tab (or Click Here.) Let us know if you find them useful. Yes, you can still print out the blank forms, or use our forms when you get to the plant exchange. If you have labels from previous exchanges knocking around your computer, we would be happy to post those too.
