Live Music at the plant exchange last March was quite a success. There will be two groups performing at the Exchange on October. Jessica Almeida and Paul Fagundes will be playing from 10:30 AM — 12:30 PM. Stay tuned for information about our afternoon performers. Jessica Almeida and Paul Fagundes are musicians from the Tri-Valley with more than 20 years of combined musical experience. Jessica sang for a choir for many years and now writes and preforms her own original music with guitar accompaniment. Her style is her own and her lyrics are thoughtful and powerful, evoking the struggles we all face with relationships, love lost, and the image of females in our culture. She sings every note from the heart with a beautiful precision that her years of vocal training and natural talent has gifted her. Paul Fagundes has been playing guitar for over 13 years, preferring the acoustic sound from his favorite instrument he loving calls Caroline. Within the past 5 years he has written over 150 songs that he sings with a timbered vocal style, hearkening back to the blues – rock of the 1960’s protest era. His songs are eclectic, raging from folk to blues to rock and speak of loss and hope, pain and pleasure.
