March 2015 Plant Exchange: What’s New!

The Bay Area’s Plant Exchange continues to grow! Join us from 12:00pm to 4:00pm this Saturday, March 28. The all-volunteer Plant Exchange celebrates abundance, generosity and community spirit. It also features free gardening advice by Alameda County Master Gardeners, services and coupons donated by local businesses, and exclusive raffle prizes. To participate bring plants or garden items to exchange. All types of plants are welcome, from cuttings to full size.

New for early birds: pre-event activities

Early birds can arrive at 10:30am for coffee, pastries and live music! This year we welcome American Idol finalist Maddy Hudson, who will open the festivities with her singing, starting at 10:30am. This 17-year old made it to the top 48 of American Idol contestants in the 2015 season. Starting at 1:00pm Oakland’s ‘The Season of Us’ will perform. This husband and wife duo offers light Latin spices, Bossa Nova blends, jazz colorings and relaxing, engaging rhythms.
