On March 15th a group of sophomores from Leadership Public Schools Hayward is continuing the school’s annual tradition of volunteering, which is known as the Advisory Day of Service. The Advisory Day of Service is a day where LPS goes out into the community to volunteer and give back: it is part of LPS’ mission to build respect, responsibility and commitment: We decided to partner with the Plant Exchange because we strongly believe in their mission of practicing and sharing environmentally healthy ways of living. We look forward to participating in the work of improving our environment, and repaying our community for all they have done to cultivate all of us. March is a very busy time for The Plant Exchange as we are gearing up for our annual free community event. The help LPS provided could not have come at a better time. Thank you for joining us. The Plant Exchange would not be what it is without our fantastic volunteers!
