The Plant Exchange is a community and a celebration that encourages resource sharing, reuse, recycling, and organic living. Our mission is to encourage green practices and support Oakland’s designation as one of the greenest cities in the country.

We are having a BIG Plant and Cookbook Sale on Saturday, Aug. 12th, from 9:30 – 1:30 pm. Inventory includes a large variety of outdoor plants, yard art, decorative pots and planters, and from a private collector, new gourmet and speciality cookbooks. Check out the vintage cookbooks from the ’30s to the 1960’s. See photos and flyer!

Stay for our next speaker event, Container Gardening for All Occasions, at 2pm. Learn everything you need to start your ornamental and edible container garden. Tickets are $10 online or $12 at the door.”
