​The Plant Exchange is a place where gardeners, landscapers, urban farmers and others meet to exchange plants, information, tools and equipment.  All of it for free. This twice-a-year event brings people from all over the San Francisco Bay Area and builds community involvement through volunteering, donating items, attending, and sharing information and ideas. What began as a small group of neighbors trading their excess plants has grown  into a large event with hundreds of people participating each time.
