Happy Birthday…to us! Celebrate our 10 Year Anniversary at their next semi-annual Plant Exchange on Saturday, October 21st from noon to 4 p.m. at 4500 Lincoln Avenue in Oakland.

The FREE event features gardening demos, live music, wonderful specialty food trucks, enticing raffle items, advice from the Alameda County Master Gardeners, a pop-up store with unique garden items, and more!

It’s time for our next Sustainable Urban Gardening event! Join us on Saturday, June 10th, from 2 – 4 pm for Go From Lawn to Garden with Sheet Mulch. You’ll learn how to layer cardboard, compost and mulch on top of the lawn and plant right into it. Sheet mulching materials break down naturally and feed your soil to provide a healthy foundation for stronger plants.​ For tickets go here.
